The Aprint navigation app, if it is like the AT&T navigation app for Palm Pre, unfortunately does not stack up well against other navigation apps. I downloaded AT&T's app on a 30-day trial yesterday, tried it, and was extremely disappointed. The best app I've used so far (between AT&T, Garmin, Magellan, and TomTom) is TomTom. TomTom is so far superior to the AT&T app (by TeleNav, for $9.95 per month additional on your phone bill) that I would not be able to begin to describe the differences in a short review. Your review does a disservice to those who are interested in a real navigation aid by making it sound as if the app actually "works great," and begs the question, "have you ever used any other navigation app?" Worse with regard to AT&T (I do not know if this is also true of Sprint), NO other navigation app is available through its proprietary "App Catalog." Needless to say, I'm deleting the app.

I have to say that my selection to obtain a Palm Pixi with Sprint program was both a rational and emotional a single. I mean, the Palm Pixi is beautiful and functional. And coupled using the service high quality of Sprint, it seems absolutely nothing short of a revolution inside the making. I think that Palm and Sprint have (nearly) hit it off famously. I did a great deal of study before purchasing the Pixi but overlooked at minimum 1 factor. The Pixi will not, yet, permit me synchronize my e-mails in between it and Outlook. As far as I am concerned, this really is a drawback I am facing unless Palm comes up which includes a answer easily. With my prior SmartPhone running a Windows OS, it was a snap to synchronize e-mails as well as other information with one's Computer. But Pixi's inability to try and do so is doing existence a little tough for me simply because I've to Bcc every single e-mail, I send out, to my e-mail address and then manually transfer it for the 'sent' folder in Outlook. I hope Palm, or at least a third-party, will arrive up using a alternative really soon that could simply enable me synchronize all my e-mails, and ideally all important information, involving the Pixi and my office Pc.

I've had my Pre given that shortly following launch and am glad to find (via this forum) that I can now set a ring tone on incoming text messages and can look for via e-mails and this kind of. Now is there any hope for an upcoming release where I can look for my calendar? Would make my employment very much less difficult, acquiring dates of last appointments. No other complaints, except that yesterday I used to be in and out of Sprint program (not unusual). I feel I used to be roaming, and looked at my calendar. Every little thing within the calendar was one hour earlier than what I had input. The clock was one particular hour early as properly. I had been frightened to death--then, as soon as we got back into Sprint support again, almost everything was normalized. Has this happened to anyone else?? Searching forward to answers, but please bear in mind, I'm no techie and speak English instead of technospeak.

I have looked at the palm store since buying the palm pixi and cannot find a NYTimes app. Did it get taken down? Is there another way to get it or get the NY Times on my phone? Does anyone know?

Just convert everything to .doc. I know it sucks but thats the only way I found it would work with this app. Word can read in any .rtf or text file.
